Hummel

Hummel was a German self-propelled gun that was in service from 1943 to 1945 during World War II. The Hummel ("bumblebee") served as mobile artillery support for tank forces during the war, first participating in large scale combat at the Battle of Kursk in July 1943. 714 Hummels were built during the war.
