Hugh I of Jaffa (1066-1118) was the Count of Jaffa under the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
Biography[]
Hugh was born in 1066 to the House of Puiset, and he was a cousin of Baldwin II of Jerusalem and Joscelin I of Edessa. He was lord of Le Puiset until 1106, when he headed to the Holy Land with the future Bohemond I of Antioch and was given the County of Jaffa in the Kingdom of Jerusalem. He died in 1118.
