Huangfu Song

Huangfu Song (died 195) was a servant of the Later Han. During the Yellow Turban Rebellion, he defeated Zhang Bao and Zhang Liang with fire attacks, and took Zhang Jiao's head from his grave. After the suppression of the rebellion, he remained Imperial Administrator and commanded the armies loyal to the Han court (at a time when Dong Zhuo exerted his influence over the Emperor), but he was involved in Wang Yun's plot to assassinate Dong Zhuo. After the tyrant's death, Huangfu Song returned to the Imperial Court, and he died in 195.
