Hu Fen (?-282) was an officer of Wei from Anding in Yong Province. He was the son of Hu Zun and younger brother of Hu Lie. He later served under Jin general Du Yu and advised him to wait before attacking Jianye in 280 during the Fall of Wu.
Biography[]
Hu Fen was the second son of Hu Zun and brother of Hu Lie. He killed the rebelling Zhuge Dan when the latter left his castle to attack. His also participated in quelling the rebellion of Liu Meng, King of the Xiongnu, in the north. Cheerful and big hearted, it was said that he loved fighting.
