Hrotheweard of Winchester (1025-1066) was an English nobleman who served under King Harold Godwinson in the late 11th century. He led an army from Winchester to counterattack against the invading Normans at Selsey in late 1066, but he was met by William FitzOsbern's army at the Battle of Havant, in which he was killed and his army annihilated.
