Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets is an American professional basketball team based in Houston, Texas. The team was established in 1967 as the "San Diego Rockets", but they moved to Houston four years later. During the 1980s, the team was known for being home to the "Twin Towers" Hakeem Olajuwon and Ralph Sampson, reaching the playoffs throughout the 1980s. In 1994, the Rockets won the NBA Finals against the New York Knicks, but the team declined until the 2010s, when it was brought back into championship contention under James Harden.
