The House of Reginar, later known as the House of Brabant, was a dynasty that ruled Lower Lorraine under West Francia and East Francia, later ruling the County of Hainaut, Duchy of Brabant, Duchy of Lothier, and Duchy of Limburg. The Reginar dynasty went extinct in 1355, leading to the House of Luxembourg replacing them. The House of Hesse side branch still exists today, having ruled Hesse from 1264 to 1918.
