House of Feinberg

The House of Feinberg was a German noble family that ruled over the castle of Feinberg in eastern Germany under the Holy Roman Empire. The family was ennobled by Conrad III of Germany after taking part in the Second Crusade in 1148, and its motto, Deus vult ("God wills it"), stems from the family's origin. The family would rule over the castle for hundreds of years, and it would remain a wealthy family under the German Empire.
