Hou Cheng (?-212) was an officer of Lu Bu. Hou Cheng was flogged for breaking the rule against drinking while garrisoned in the castle. He abandoned Lu Bu for this violent act and decided to leave with Wei Xu and Song Xian. They stole Lu Bu's horse, Red Hare, and surrendered to Cao Cao.
