Hoshiko Hata

Hoshiko Hata (born 1962) was a Japanese street criminal who lived in Kabukicho, Tokyo during the 2000s. On 11 December 2005, he joined Hirotaka Chiba's gang of con men who engaged in a "bump-and-scam" scheme, accusing passers-by of injuring Chiba and demanding monetary compensation from the innocent passer-by, lest they risk a beating from the gang. That same day, he joined the rest of the gang in attempting to extort Kazuma Kiryu, a recent rival of Chiba's, but Kiryu beat down the entire gang and forced Chiba to disband his gang.
