Hosea Washington Parker

Hosea Washington Parker (30 May 1833-21 August 1922) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NH 3) from 4 March 1871 to 3 March 1875, succeeding Jacob Benton and preceding Henry W. Blair.

Biography[]

Hosea Washington Parker was born in Lempster, New Hampshire in 1833, and he became a lawyer in 1859, served in the State House from 1859 to 1860, as a delegate to the Democratic National Conventions of 1868, 1880, 1884, and 1888, and served in the US House of Representatives from 1871 to 1875. He died in 1922.
