Homer Combs (8 October 1913 - 11 June 1944) was a US Army Lieutenant who served in the 502nd Pathfinders, during World War II.
Biography[]
Combs served in the 3rd Battalion of the 502nd Regiment. On June 11, 1944, he led a reconnaissance patrol above a strategically important farm. During the mission, only Combs survived. Later, Combs is killed in action during the German counterattack against the Ingouf Farmhouse.
