The Holcombe Legion was a Confederate States Army legion from South Carolina which was active from the fall of 1861 to April 1865 during the American Civil War. It was raised by Peter Fayssoux Stevens as a legion consisting of an infantry regiment, a cavalry battalion, and artillery, and it helped defend Charleston in the summer of 1862 before being attached to the Army of Northern Virginia and seeing its first action at the Second Battle of Bull Run. The regiment went on to fight at the Battle of Antietam, the Siege of Petersburg, and the Appomattox Campaign, surrendering with the rest of the Army of Northern Virginia in April 1865.
