Hiroc Pitby (834-875) was the West Saxon captain in charge of Sancta Maria's Abbey in Essex (present-day Stratford, London) during the late 9th century AD. He was killed by the Viking warrior Eivor during the Raid on Stratford Langthorne in 875 AD.
