Hilkiah

Hilkiah was the High Priest of Israel during the reign of King Josiah (r. 641-609 BC). In 624 BC, Josiah had Hilkiah repair Solomon's Temple and cleanse Jerusalem of idolatry, and he fathered the prophet Jeremiah.
