Hikmat Mirzayev was an Azerbaijani special forces Major-General who served in the Four-Day War and the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Biography[]
Hikmat Izzatoglu Mirzayev was born in Bilasuvar, Azerbaijan SSR, Soviet Union, and he was promoted to Major-General in 2002 and became commander of the newly-formed special forces in 2015. He led the special forces during the Four-Day War in 2016 and the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, distinguishing himself by capturing Jabrayil in October 2020.
