High Chief Yavdi of Sarkel (844-) was the high chief of Sarkel under Khazaria.
Biography[]
Yavdi was born in 844 to the House of Jabdertim, a Jewish Khazar dynasty that ruled over Sarkel in present-day Rostov Oblast, Russia. Yavdi was a vassal of Khan Manasseh II of Khazaria, another Jewish Khazar leader.
