Hezbollah al-Hejaz was a Shia Muslim militant organization that operated in Saudi Arabia, Kuwiat, and Bahrain. The group was founded in May 1987 by Abdelkarim Hussein Mohamed al-Nasser and Ahmad Ibrahim al-Mughassil, and it followed the teachings of the Ayatollah Khomeini, supporting the establishment of an Islamic republic in the Arabian Peninsula after the Iranian model. The group was responsible for bombing foreign installations in Saudi Arabia, and its most famous attack was the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing.
