Hesham Mohamed al-Kahlout (1975-23 December 2005) was a Hamas leader.
Biography[]
Hesham Mohamed al-Kahlout was born in 1975 in the Jabaliya refugee camp of Gaza Strip, with twelve people in his family. They originated in Naelya, which was occupied by Israel, and al-Kahlout became a devout Muslim who joined the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas. He joined Hamas in 1996, and on 23 December 2005 he was killed in an airstrike on a Hamas rally with 50,000 people in attendance.
