Hermann von Fritsch

Hermann von Fritsch (13 May 1829 - ?) was a German Generalleutnant of the Imperial German Army during the late 19th century. Fritsch was a graduate of the Prussian War Academy and was regarded as being very intelligent. He served as the chief of staff for the China Expeditionary Force under Adolf von Waldeck und Pyrmont and Nikolaus von Hindenburg. After the successful War of the Guangdong Concession, Fritsch commanded the newly-formed III China Corps, which consisted of recruited locals.
