Herbert Bellschan von Mildenburg (26 June 1924-25 October 2022) was an Austrian Waffen-SS veteran who served in the 6th SS Mountain Division Nord during World War II. Mildenburg was an ardent Nazi throughout his life, arguing against race-mixing by saying that, if one cross-breeded apples and pears, they would grow neither. Into his nineties, he continued to fill his home with SS memorabilia, a crude caricature of a Jew, his SS dagger, and a bust of Adolf Hitler, and he continued to believe that the Jews were Germany's enemy. He also engaged in speaking tours about his service during the war.
