
Henry Persons (30 January 1834-17 June 1910) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-GA 4) from 4 March 1879 to 3 March 1881, succeeding Henry R. Harris and preceding Hugh Buchanan.
Biography[]
Henry Persons was born in Smarrs, Georgia in 1834, and he served in the 3rd Georgia Cavalry Regiment during the American Civil War before serving in the US House of Representatives from 1879 to 1881. He later practiced law in Geneva and Talbotton before dying in 1910.
