Henry May (13 February 1816-25 September 1866) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-MD 5) from 4 March 1853 to 3 March 1855 (succeeding Alexander Evans and preceding Henry William Hoffman) and from MD-4 from 4 March 1861 to 3 March 1863 (succeeding Henry Winter Davis and preceding Francis Thomas).
Biography[]
Henry May was born in Washington DC in 1816, and he was admitted to the bar in 1840 and moved to Baltimore in 1850. He was a Democratic member of US House of Representatives from 1853 to 1855 and from 1861 to 1863 (as a Unionist the second time). He died in 1866.
