
Henry Lord Cavett (1758-1809) was a Federalist politician from New Jersey.
Biography[]
Henry Lord Cavett was born in Hackensack, New Jersey in 1758, and he trained as a lawyer before serving in the Patriot militia during the American Revolutionary War. After the war, he entered politics as a Federalist, serving on the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders from 1792 to 1796. He died in 1809.
