Henry L. Dickey

Henry Luther Dickey (29 October 1832-23 May 1910) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OH 7) from 4 March 1877 to 3 March 1879 (succeeding Lawrence T. Neal and preceding Frank H. Hurd) and from 4 March 1879 to 3 March 1881 (interrupting Henry S. Neal's terms).

Biography[]

Henry Luther Dickey was born in South Salem, Ohio in 1832, and he was raised in Washington Court House and Greenfield. He worked as a civil engineer before becoming a lawyer in Chillicothe and Greenfield, and he served in the state house from 1860 to 1862, in the state senate from 1868 to 1870, and in the US House of Representatives from 1879 to 1881 and from 1877 to 1879. He died in 1910.
