
Henry Davis McHenry (27 February 1826-17 December 1890) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-KY 2) from 4 March 1871 to 3 March 1873, succeeding William N. Sweeney and preceding John Y. Brown.
Biography[]
Henry Davis McHenry was born in Hartford, Kentucky in 1826, and he became a lawyer in 1845. He served in the State House from 1851 to 1853 and from 1865 to 1867, in the State Senate from 1861 to 1865, in the US House of Representatives from 1871 to 1873, and on the Democratic National Committee from 1872 until his death in 1890.
