Staff Sergeant Henry Blackburn (born 1986) was an American marine who served in the US Marine Corps' 1st Reconnaissance Battalion during Operation Guillotine, participating in the capture and accidental killing of Faruk al-Bashir. He later fragged Captain Quinton Cole at the urging of GRU agent Dima Mayakovsky, allowing them both to be able to stop the nuclear attacks by terrorist and alleged CIA asset Solomon in Paris and New York City.
Blackburn was interrogated by CIA agents Harry Gordon and Laszlo W. Kovic, later breaking free with the help of squadmate PFC Dave Montes in order to stop. Despite several close calls, Blackburn managed to kill Solomon and intercept the suitcase nuke in Times Square. Blackburn was dishonorably discharged for the killing of Cole, though was given a new identity in exchange for silence regarding the nuke.
