Henry A. Bullard

Henry Adams Bullard (9 September 1788-17 April 1851) was a member of the US House of Representatives (NR-LA 3) from 4 March 1831 to 4 January 1834 (succeeding Walter Hampden Overton and preceding Rice Garland) and from LA-2 from 5 December 1850 to 3 March 1851 (succeeding Charles Magill Conrad and preceding Joseph Aristide Landry). Born in Pepperrell, Massachusetts, he practiced law in Natchitoches and Alexandria, Louisiana before participating in Jose Alvarez de Toledo y Dubois' expedition into Tejas in 1813. He later served in Congress, on the state supreme court from 1834 to 1839, as Secretary of State of Louisiana from 1838 to 1839, and in the state house in 1850.
