
Henri Galli (16 November 1853-29 May 1922) was a French politician who served in the Chamber of Deputies from 1914 to 1922 as a member of the Democratic Republican Alliance.
Biography[]
Louis-Henri-Desire Galli was born in Chalons-en-Champagne, Marne department, France in 1853, and he worked as a political journalist. He joined the Ligue des Patriotes, serving as editor-in-chief of its press organ, Le Drapeau; he also served as the league's vice-president under Paul Deroulede. He went on to serve in the Paris municipal council from 1900 to 1919 and in the Chamber of Deputies from 1914 to 1922, representing the 4th arrondissement as a member of the Democratic Republican Alliance. He died in 1922, and Square Henri-Galli, created in 1924, was named in his honor.
