Helmand Khalol (1971-2013) was an Afghan Anti-Coalition Militia commander during the Afghanistan War. In 2013, he led a band of militiamen from Surobi to attack the US Army's FOB Echo during the Siege of Echo Base, only to be killed in battle with the beleaguered defenders.
