Helen Dashwood (born 1942) was a British police engineer and hacker who was active in the DeadSec hacktivist group during the 2010s.
Biography[]
Helen Dashwood was born in London, England in 1942, and she obtained an MSc in BioRobotics from Delft before becoming an engineer for the Metropolitan Police Service. She had a son, Brendan Dashwood, with her boyfriend Kyle Francis, and she was known to be a mystery novel enthusiast and a proud cat owner; during her service in the police, she won three Medals of Merit. She retired during the 2010s, but, in 2020, she was recruited into the hacktivist group DeadSec as a hacker.
