Heinrich Wulff (1890-1916) was a German pilot, mercenary and gunslinger in Baja California during the Mexican Revolution.

Biography[]

After World War I, he flew shipments of German Mauser rifles to Mexico to sell to the crime lord El Guapo. Before the war, he'd been a fan of American movie star Ned Nederlander. Ned's cowboy movies had inspired him to train himself to be a gunslinger. However, after learning about the practice of visual effects and camera trickery, he became convinced that Ned had used these for his onscreen quick-draw skills. He grew bitter. Years later, when the Three Amigos stormed El Guapo's mission to rescue the captured Carmen, the German and his cohorts were in attendance for El Guapo's birthday celebration, and he demanded a duel with Ned as revenge for the perceived dishonesty of Ned's movies. But Ned had really been a quick-draw champion after all, and despite being given a heavier gun, beat the German to the draw and shot him, killing him.
