Heinrich Luft (11 February 1962-24 December 1988) was a West German Volksfrei terrorist and a member of Hans Gruber's terror cell. He was shot dead by off-duty NYPD policeman John McClane during the failed Nakatomi Plaza heist in Los Angeles in 1988.
