Heikichi Morihei

Heikichi Morihei (1902-29 May 1945) was a Japanese soldier who served in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. In May 1945, he fought in defense of Shuri Castle on Okinawa during the Battle of Okinawa, and he was killed when the American Marines assaulted the castle on 29 May.
