Hazaras are a Persian people that are native to Afghanistan, being the third-largest ethnic group in the country with 5,000,000 people. Almost all of them are Shia Muslims, and Hazaras speak the Dari dialect of Hazaragi, mutually intelligible with the Dari mother language.
