Hayden Rogers was a Democratic Party lobbyist and political operator who ran for the North Carolina 11th congressional district seat in 2012, losing to Republican Party candidate Mark Meadows.
Biography[]
Hayden Rogers was born and raised in Robbinsville in western North Carolina, and he graduated from Princeton University, sharing an apartment with future murderer Lyle Menendez; he worked as the chief operating officer of his Mr. Buffalo's restaurant in New Jersey. Rogers later became involved with Democratic Party politics in his home state, serving as Chief-of-Staff to Congresswoman Heath Shuler before unsuccessfully running for the US House of Representatives in 2012 against Republican Party candidate Mark Meadows. Rogers later served as chief of staff for West Virginia senator Joe Manchin and as Managing Director of the Bockorny Group, a lobbying and consulting firm in Washington DC.
