Hawker Typhoon

The Hawker Typhoon was a British fighter-bomber that was produced by Hawker Aircraft from 1941 to 1945 during World War II. The Typhoon served as a low-altitude interceptor, and it also served as a long-range fighter and a night-time intruder. After late 1942, the plane was equipped with bombs, and it was also given RP-3 rockets in 1943. The Typhoon would become one of the war's most successful ground-attack aircraft, and 3,317 were built for the Royal Air Force and the Royal Canadian Air Force during the war.
