Hassan Hazbawi

Hassan Hazbawi (died 30 November 2014) was a general of Iran who was the commander of the IRGC 64th Artillery Group. He was killed in action in the Battle of Al-Shaykh Maskin in the Syrian Civil War.

Biography[]

Hassan Hazbawi was born in Khuzestan Province of Iran and later joined the IRGC, an Iranian terrorist group that was sent by Iran to Syria as a force of trainers for the Syrian Arab Army. On 30 November 2014, he was killed in Deraa during the Battle of Al-Shaykh Maskin in the Syrian Civil War and was the second highest-ranking commander from Khuzestan killed in Syria.
