Harris Cause (1779-1844) was a colonel of the British Army during the Peninsular War. Born in Corby, England, Cause commanded a regiment of British line infantry in the army of Viscount Wellington during the campaign in Spain, and he fought at the 1811 Battle of Tarouca.
