Harjedalen is a province of central Sweden, bordering Norway, Dalarna, Halsingland, Medelpad, and Jamtland. The province belonged to Norway until it was ceded to Sweden in 1645 following the "Torstenson War", and it had a population of 9,697 people in 2016.
