Haranobu Horie (1581-1615) was a general of the Tokugawa.
Biography[]
Haranobu was born in Tsubame, Echigo Province, and he fought in the Battle of Sekigahara on the side of the Eastern Army. After his success here, he was given command of one of the Tokugawa army infantry units during the 1615 Osaka Campaign. Haranobu scaled the walls of Osaka Castle, and he was killed in the melee with the Toyotomi.
