Hans Seewald was a German diplomat and the representative of the German naval attache in Spain during World War II. He helped deliver communications to the German resupply ship SS Weser, which was ostensibly interned at the Spanish port of Vigo, and he delivered information to U-96 captain Daniel Hencke in 1941, as Hencke was about to attempt a passage through the Strait of Gibraltar.
