Hamza Abbas (12 March 1937-12 February 1975) was a PLO leader.
Biography[]
Hamza Abbas was born on 12 March 1937 in Kabatiya, Mandatory Palestine to a family of Sunni Muslim Palestinians. He joined the Palestine Liberation Organization under Yasser Arafat, and Abbas was accused by Israel of facilitating terrorist attacks and taking part in Black September Organization attacks. Abbas was assassinated in Operation Wrath of God on 12 February 1975 by Mossad in Paris by a car bomb.
