Hamood al-Murad (2 October 1766-21 July 1798) was a Palestinian officer in the army of the Ottoman Empire. al-Murad commanded a regiment of Palestinian auxiliaries at the Battle of the Pyramids on 21 July 1798, and he was killed in battle with the forces of the French First Republic.
