Hamilton Mulreeny (1824-1888) was a Jamaican shopkeeper who lived in Kingston during the mid-19th century. The son of militia officer Spencer Mulreeny, he sold carpentry products and other hardware from a shop in the Jamaican capital and moonlighted as a militia officer. Mulreeny participated in the suppression of the 1865 Morant Bay rebellion, although he opposed the British government's revocation of Jamaican self-governance. He fathered seven children, including Alexander Mulreeny, before dying in 1888.
