
Hamilton Marple (1878-1916) was a citizen of the United Kingdom who spied for the German Empire during World War I.
Biography[]
Hamilton Marple was born in 1878 in London, England. Marple was from an upper-class family, and he married a German woman. At the start of World War I, his sympathies lay with the German Empire, so he decided to work as a spy for the Germans in London. In 1916, Lydia Frye tracked down the German spies to a house with a radio, and Frye assassinated Marple, Rafferty Blackburn, and Mirabelle Farraday before radioing Winston Churchill and informing him of her success.
