Hamilton Boyd (1831-1886) was the Democratic Mayor of Portland, Oregon from 1868 to 1869, succeeding J.A. Chapman and preceding Bernard Goldsmith.

Biography[]

Hamilton Boyd was born in 1831, and he came to Portland, Oregon in 1860, where he became assistant county clerk, an accountant, county commissioner from 1868 to 1870, and as Mayor from 1868 to 1869. He died in Portland in 1886.
