Ham (2448 BC-1912 BC) was a son of Noah and Emzara, the brother of Shem and Japheth, and the husband of Na'eltama'uk. He survived the Great Flood aboard the Ark, and, following the Flood, he noticed his father's drunkenness when he lay naked in his vineyard. Ham told his brothers about his father's nudity, and, when Noah awoke with garments, he had his grandson Canaan made a slave to his brothers as a curse. Ham also went on to father Cush, Mizraim, and Phut, and died in 1912 BC. His descendants went on to populate Egypt and Africa.
