Harry Russell Albee (8 September 1867-31 December 1950) was the Progressive Mayor of Portland, Oregon from 1913 to 1917, succeeding Allen G. Rushlight and preceding George Luis Baker.

Biography[]

Harry Russell Albee was born in Rockford, Illinois in 1867, and he later relocated to Portland, Oregon, where he entered politics. He served as the city's Progressive Mayor from 1913 to 1917, focusing on riverfront improvement, water meters, municipal garbage collection, vice, public transit rates, and slum housing conditions, while also reducing expenditures. He died in 1950.
