Guttorm of Norway (1199-11 August 1204) was King of Norway from 2 January to 11 August 1204, succeeding Haakon III and preceding Inge II.

Biography[]

Guttorm was born in Norway in 1199, the son of Sigurd Lavard and a grandson of King Sverre of Norway. On the death of his grandfather in 1202 and his uncle Haakon III of Norway two years later, the four-year-old Guttorm was named King of Norway, but he died under suspicious circumstances in 1204 amid the Norwegian Civil War.
